Newegg reduced the price of its ABS Stratos II Ruby gaming PC by $450, setting the cost at $2,549.99. The system combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. This configuration represents the lowest price point for an RTX 5070 Ti pre-built system currently available on the retailer's website.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an eight-core chip utilizing AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. This feature expands the L3 cache to 96MB, allowing the processor to access data with lower latency. By reducing the need to fetch data from slower system memory, the chip maintains steadier frame rates during gameplay. Industry benchmarks place the processor near the top of current gaming performance rankings, with no Intel equivalent matching its output in this specific category.
The graphics card is an Nvidia Blackwell generation component featuring 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It supports DLSS with multi-frame generation, a capability that enables 4K gaming with ray tracing in modern titles. While top presets work in most scenarios, players may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games at 4K resolution. The 16GB of video memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found on lower-tier RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 cards.
Supporting hardware includes 32GB of DDR5 memory split across two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules. These run at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is handled by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds, offering sufficient space for multiple large game installations. Connectivity features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages thermal output for the processor.
Tom's Hardware identified the system as the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti option on Newegg as of October 23, 2026. The outlet described the price as strong for the current market given the hardware combination. They noted that the offer is likely to sell out quickly due to the discount and the specific pairing of the 9800X3D and RTX 5070 Ti.
